So you are still interested in receiving Viagra emails? :p

Why not? If idiots are willing to fork over their hard earned money, I see no problem with cashing in.

I don't let my e-mail get over 100MB, I restrict our server here to so every user must have less than 100MB. Don't see a need for 1GB. Just another hotmail if you ask me.

Will anandtech even allow GMail addresses as contact email?

I know they shut out other "free" sites.

Not all free e-mail sites. Just the major ones like hotmail, yahoo, etc.

Anyway I got an invite to Gmail just now. I'm trying to figure out a unique name for myself but in the meantime, if anyone still wants an invite to Orkut .. just let me know.

Google must be making a lot of profit if they can afford to give each free gmail account 1gb of space.

Well, I doubt anyone will come close to 100MB let alone 1TB... at least to start off with. HD space will get cheaper over time. So they have some headroom before they actually need to have the physical space... at least.. I take thats what they're banking on :)

No but the format is actually really sweet. I love how you can arrange all the emails and how easy and quick its interface is.

I have colleagues with over 500MB in their mail boxes. When mailing important documents to customers and keeping a copy of your mail it quickly grows.
