So I set my FSB to 210 with a multiplier of 12, now I'm running my 754 socket 3400+ at 2.52ghz. Livin' on the edge. How accurate is ASUS probe... will it keep me from frying my chip if I start to go higher?

Um if it really fries well you're fubar. I think what he's really trying to say is if something goes wrong just reset the cmos.

Huh? The only thing I understood in that sentence was the word "can." Please reiterate.

nevermind.. lol.. BTW can you guys tell me if my motherboard has locked speed SATA.. I don't know where to find this info

it's an Asus k8vse-dlx

Nope, it sure doesn't. Supposedly though at 233 it can lock. I believe 266/267 as well. Should be on the motherboard somewhere. Zebo and n7 have actually worked with this however. I tried it once though at 233/234...didn't work for me.

If your cool where your at you should be fine. I would backup your data before you go any further however. Because my SATA's ALWAYS corrupt if I go too far. You might be able to get some mileage out of your proc though. I got a 3200+ and at 11*222/223 I can't get any futher without corruption.
