My dad made a patent for his company and they accepted it
With tax deduction he got 1200 bucks
Im thrilled for him 🙂
 
That seems like a ripoff. $1200 for something that the company will probably make a lot more off of.
 
If successful, he can use it as a springboard to demand a whole lot more next time. Maybe even keep the patent & let someone else market it. Or just license it.
 
what was the patent for?
I always thought this would be kick ass...to not only invent something, but have it patented
