This guy is seriously trying to p!ss us off!
1. He is a JUNIOR Member... Nuff said...
2. He doesn't even go price hunting! Names the most expensive price for something.

1st off, I got my IBM 30.7 GB hard drive ATA100 7200RPM for 105 English pounds which is about 155US dollars much cheaper.
2nd: there are no such things as 4800 unless if you are looking at a laptop hard drive which will not work properly in a normal PC.
3rd: Cyrix CPUs are not as good as first thought! They have litterally been forced off the CPU market so for a genuine computer guy a Cyrix is not even mentioned. Intel and AMDs are mentioned around here, unless if something good about Cyrix happens or needs to be discused then it is brought up.
4th: RD Ram is not for a computer user like you! The most a normal home PC would use is DDR SDRam which is still very new becasue not many mobo support it!
5th: The mobo I have never heard of here in the U.K so I dought it exists.
6th: There is no such thing as a PCI 4X GPU! Only 4X AGP slots! And that is a ridiculous price anyway!
7th: A 19inch monitor can not be so cheap, unless if it doesn't work.
8th: 18X DVD-Rom drive have not been invented yet! Only still under research!
9th: The last thing whatever you are talking about is a load of bull so don't even try pulling that over us!
Over all I can safly say for all of us here who use these forums that you are a very stupid person, and you desearve all the posts that point out how stupid you are and hope you get kickd off and banned from these forums!

UDMA69, i agree w/ your choices for your new system...except for a couple things, as follows:
Since u like Cyrix, the Cyrix MII PR300 and DFI socket 7 Mobo can be had for $200, perhaps more if u look harder, and should provide u w/ awesome speeds as well as future upgradeability (i.e. AMD k6-2 500).
u won't be able to use Rdram...but PC66 is as rare
i would oc the cpu using water-cooling (or waterblock, mineral oil, liquid freon, etc.) at up the bus to 75mhz
get a geforce 2 ultra agp (apg, which works raelly nice w/ mvp3 chipsets) since your vid card will be the bottleneck in that system, thus u need the fastest vid card possible, for noly $750CDN..
the rest, u can figure out yourself...
