What's a good hardwood flooring sweeper?
We just had a ton installed and finished. We have had hardwood flooring in the past, but it was beat up and we just vacuumed it with a shop vac and mopped them with Mop n Glo.

Our flooring installer said not to use Mop n Glo or Murphys Oil Soap.

Anyway... what is a decent sweeper or type of sweeper for hardwood floors for everyday cleaning?
Swiffer sucks. It just pushes stuff around. We need something with a vacuum. THe Swiffer Vacuum looks cheap.

Thanks for suggestions!

My parents use a swiffer vac on their floor. It seems to work pretty well, but I'm pretty sure Dyson makes a cordless vacuum if you want to get all fancy.

There are ton of microfiber mops that I have seen. I use the Bruce brand on mine, but I'm pretty sure I've also seen a brand called Bona or something like that as well.

I use some thins like this. The whole house is oak flooring.

Wal mart/target will have them. We have a dirt drive so a lot gets tracked in. I hate having grit on the floor.

I've got a knock off "Bona" mop. Basically a swiffer on steroids. It's like 4" by 15" with a microfiber cloth on the end. I have a whole house vaccum system with some kick pans under cabinets and I'll push that thing around and into the vaccum pans. Works great, especially with dog hair.

It's got like 3x the surface area and the pads for it are much, much more absorbant(?) if that's the appropriate term vs. the swiffer pads.
