Barring extraordinary circumstances, I'll be starting a new job on March 1. Flashbacks of the old Monster.com commerical came into mind since I've finally clawed my way up to middle management. Just hope I don't get forced into early retirement. Now I get to walk around with a cup of coffee requesting people come in on Saturday (and maybe Sunday) while confiscating red Swingline staplers. The pay is excellent along with a nice bonus and benefits package. The part that really kicks ass is that I bet out over one thousand people for this position. The process was tough with over twelve hours of interviews and cognitive/behavioral testing but it was well worth it. The only part that kinda stinks is the commute. Not tough by any means but it is around thirty-two miles in each direction. Thankfully it is a "reverse commute" so there is no traffic. I like driving so things shouldn't be that bad.

To those looking for a job, all I can say is things are truly bouncing back. New England got hit hard by the dot bomb collapse but I'm very surprised at the sudden spike in jobs. Hang in there.

Congrats, Windogg.

I guess there won't ever be any more classic Windogg rants now. Remember that one about the fat lady who almost took a bite out of a laptop because she thought it was a giant Oreo?

Man, remembering that makes me LOL to this day.

Awesome... no more job rants then (not that you've posted any recently to my knowledge)?
