Wonton soup

takes like 10 minutes, soup is chicken bullion or chicken broth from a can. Wonton skins you can buy from a asian grocery store and the ground pork you can get at the supermarket. use egg yolks to get the wonton skin to seal up and stay in the shape. The trick is to not put in too much pork in the wonton.

Thanks, that's what I was looking for. I'll use ground beef instead of pork though.

for the soup make sure to use a healthy amount of scallions. my mom also likes to add seaweed, the kind that you use for sushi. and little things of dried shrimp. mm mm good.

Living in a Chinese family my mom makes it a lot. Some ground meat, chopped veggies, spices, wonton skins, and we wrap our own.

can you use shrimp as a ingredient?

Most people dont, its kind of a hassle to get the shrimp down to a size that you would want in a wonton

those little shrinps are gross. It overpowers the chicken broth. and I hate scallions, it has too strong of a taste.

never add too much of anything, foods in a dish should co-exist with each other, not fight each other for dominance.

I've never tasted pork or shrimp. 🙂

So you've never had bacon? Shame.
Bacon is something that can not be missed. 🙁

Nope, never have. I'm doing fine without it. 😉

Oh dear god. I could not live without bacon. It's so yummy. 🙁
