Save your money 2 7970 can do just fine @ 1080p till next year and your cpu will push a Pascal gpu just fine. Your cpu can push 2 gtx980ti's and I'm sure a Pascal will not be much faster than that.
Pascal will be your forever gpu! After that you'll need more cpu and you can retire your whole system. That may be in 2018 or 2019.

i had to give you specs at 1st post!

2 7970 in crossfire is about equal to a regular gtx980.
A gtx980ti is about 30% faster than a gtx980.
A pascal should be 2x faster than 2 7970's or a gtx980.
At that point your cpu will need max overclock to run Pascal.

But the good news @ 1080p you might get 4 or 5 years from now, from that system with Pascal upgrade and overclocked cpu next year.
