I just built my system and my MB will only except 1 stick of Kingston KVR memory. I have tried each stick individually and had success with each one. I have tried both in any combination of slots and all I get is a beep on post. One thing to note though is when I stick one in slot 1 and one in slot 3 the system will post but freezes after recognizing the 2 256 modules. Is there something I am missing here? I have unpluged HD, CDROMS, and still it won't take 2 sticks.
Hardware:
MSI K8N Neo nForce3 (7030)
2 Kingston KVR400x64C3a/256 (mb compatible)
AMD Athlon 64 3000+ (2.01 GHz)
ATI Radeon 9550
WDC WD800JD serial ATA HD
Please help me......

You need to update your bios. Flash it to the newest one using the MSI Live update program. Once you do that pop em both in and it'll work.

Maybe you need a BIOS update? Have you tried slots 2 and 4? Possible RMA?
