I'm building a new rig (first time) and I've been doing a lot of reading on this forum and many others. I have decided that I will be going for the following:
CPU - Conroe E6600
MOBO - ASUS P5W DH Deluxe (I might hold off on this if other boards are coming out soon)
VIDEO - eVGA 7900 GT
RAM - A-Data Vitesta DDR2-5300
CASE - Antec P180B
It should be noted that I plan to overclock the E6600 anywhere from 3 Ghz (333 x 9) to 3.6 Ghz (400 x 9).
I would like to volt mod the 7900 GT up to 1.4v and oc as high as possible on that.
I also plan on oc the ram up to 2.1 - 2.2 volts.
My question is what kind of PSU am I going to need to effectively run this system? I know that Seasonic is a great brand but are there any others? And keep in mind that I am on a budget so I don't want to spend a lot on a 700W PSU if I can get the job done with a 450W. Thanks.
