Wonder Woman

Looks ok. I just miss Linda Carter. When I was a kid I had a huge crush on her. She was gorgeous as Wonder Woman. The new actress, she is quite a looker too, but she ain't no Linda Carter!

Other than the Nolan Batman films, DC's films have generally been crap. It would take an amazing Rotten Tomatoes score for me to want to see this.

I'll wait for rent on this one just like I have for the other recent DC movies. None of them have been good, not one.

yeah.. she can go toe to toe with superman/Doomsday.

she's fighting a bunch of Nazi's that only have guns.
and she has a one of a kind sword/shield/magic lasso/god bracelets.

don't like the reboot where she's the only one with them.
liked the Linda Carter Wonder Woman where all Amazons on the island had lassos + bracelets
 
I hate it when awesome trailers oversell shit movies. I hope this isn't a shit movie, because it looks like it could be one of those rare gems within the wave of superhero mediocrity.

One thing DC has going for them: best score and character themes of all the superhero flicks. Nolan Batman, MoS, and the WW themes--all of them spectacular.

Unfortunately none of the newer DC movies have been good after Nolan Batman movies. I'm just still so skeptical. I'll definitely wait for reviews on Wonder Woman. No reason to give them the benefit of the doubt anymore.

I think the apparent fact that when Wonder Woman isn't busy doing a bit of warrior'ing, she always looks like she just stepped out of a salon, speaks volumes for the likely quality of this film. Even while she's warrior'ing, actually...

Wouldn't most warriors think of cutting their hair back somewhat, as it makes for a painful handle for your opponent to wield against you? She's even got a handy long blade for the job.

MoS was awesome. Way better than any of the Nolan Batman flicks.

Amazons supposedly cut off their right tit because it made them better archers. I've never seen the DC version of Amazons do that. Oh well.

I find it amusing that in the film she goes into combat with her long flowing locks fresh out of a salon, yet in the Conan O'Brien training video, her hair is tied back.

It's almost impossible for a superhero movie to fail these days. Even if it sucks it will do great at the box office and you can bet that they're already working on a script for the sequel.
 
🙄 Ok guys, when you've thought through the topic of engaging audiences with sufficient amounts of realism regardless of what the movie is about, then maybe you'll knock off the dumbass responses.

Christ, even 'the Incredibles' performs an amusing take-down of impractical superhero outfits.
