Work at NCIX and I won a 100 gift card to spend within the company (NOT a prepaid credit card gift card). Apparently I sold the most systems in the store last week or some shit (didn't really sell very many). Anyway any ideas what I should spend it on? If you look at my system specs below you will see that I'm not exactly in need of a lot but hay I love computer hardware so there must be some upgrade I can make 😛

We sell a few, but not many. Mostly hardware. I'm leaning towards an upgraded SSD, or maybe a good game pad so I can play some platformers on my computer. Or maybe replace my 6x2GB of RAM with 3x4GB so I have room to upgrade later?
 
Dude your shit is ridiculous already. There's like nothing to upgrade.

How is your current sound? Maybe put it towards a new speaker system or set of headphones.

Fancy keyboard and mouse? Normally I wouldn't bother with either but in your case might be something to get.

Ahh that's right I've been thinking of getting some nice headphones. Already got a nice keyboard and mouse (DAS Keyboard and Logitech G700). Thanks for reminding me of this. While back I was thinking of getting something like Beyerdynamics.

Also Sandy Bridge's potential hasn't quite been tapped yet. That will have to wait for socket 2011 and the 6 core SB chips.

Back when I was working at 7-11 I bought a 58in Samsung Plasma, a surround sound setup and a receiver.
 
you could upgrade your parents rig with something they might like. given that all your stuff is already pretty nice, how about throwing them a bone?
