I saw one about two weeks that I had to do a triple-take. I couldn't believe there was that much hair on the lip and still be a woman :puke:

Those women are probably a bit self conscious.

I do like the Orlando Bloom pic though.

Most girls actually have a light stache naturally(its a well-kept secret, concealed by waxing and plucking), the entire body is actually covered in a very thin light amount of hair, some of which might be above the lip.

But still... freaky stuff
It's not that hard to wax/puck :)

I'd offer them some of my duct tape. The good one made by 3M and not the cheap 99 cent store one.

Do those newscasters have a NZ accent or just a British one? I can't tell the difference there.

NZ, and when you say that it makes me want to tell you I can't tell your Kanook accent from an American one

edit: BTW there's no such thing as a British accent - you're probably talking about an English accent, and even that is as diverse as the American accents. NZ accents are vastly different still.

I'm sure I do have something of a Kanook accent but one can never really hear their own accent. To me it's just a regular North West American accent. I don't say aboot, lol. To my knowledge I don't say "eh" much but it is possible I do without realizing it.

The newscasters there sound more English to me than the people they interview on the street who sound much more like what I would expect a NZ accent to sound. It probably comes from the fact that newscasters have to sound formal and in many cultures, here included, that leads to a certain way of speaking that sounds different from the general populous.

The reporters in that clip have more "refined" accents - more like how I speak and how older or more educated NZers speaker. Some of the people on the street talk quite "muddy", but many people grow out of that as they grow older or become more aware of their speech.
