Show a INDEPENDENT study that says that.

Thats liek saying cig's don;t cause cancer, I have all these reports and studys from the cig's makers that say so.

I know a fair amount of women that used the pill and followed the directiosn and still got knocked up.

Not sure where to find an independant study. Just about every medical site will list those numbers. Granted, that is with perfect usage in non-smokers that are not overweight.

Plenty of women get pregnant off the pill. Sure. 97% obviously isn't 100%. But, the chances are VERY slim.

And really, unless you saw them take the pill everyday at the same time, you cannot say they took it properly.

For maximum effectiveness, the pill has to be taken daily (of course), but should also be taken at about the same time every day. My wife is on the pill, and it specifically says that it is not 100% effective. I don't remember the exact numbers, though.

it just doesn't feel right if you pull out

umm...some times it feels quite nice if you can get her to participate in finishing the job. I generally mix it up. I was nervous the first few times I stayed in the first time I was dating a girl who went on the pill. I got over it and really haven't worried.

I would worry though if my girlfriend was really forgetful...no telling how good a job she's done on being consistent with taking the pill.

My wife has some sort of funny pill alarm that goes off every day at the same time. Since she got that thing she hasn't missed a pill... 🙂 best invention ever.

or you could just set your mobile to remind you-then reset it after taking it...

first most should probably worry about getting the sex first, than anyone pregnant. 😉

If you are worried about pregnancy, you need to use a condom and the pill to get close to 100% in practice. The pill doesn't necessarily have to be on clockwork each day to be just as effective either...however; it's much easier to not forget it.

I have had a lot of unprotected sex, 100's of times, gotten one false alarm and one that didn't make it past the 3 month mark. Women have a window where they can concieve more or less. Outside of this window if you could 100% know it would negate the need for anything...however, it's been pretty much impossible to pin down, hense the birth control market.

It's funny because when most try to have kids, they find out how hard it really is to become pregnant.

Why not do this? For the first score, no dance in the endzone. Get your QB to get it all out ahead of the game. Then, while he can still have fun, he'll be a little too drained to do a full end zone dance.

I never had a problem when my GF's or when my wife was on the pill. I haven't pulled out or worn a condom in the last 15 years! 😀

Other medications can reduce/kill the pill's effectiveness.

If worried about it, be considerate.

My wife read that it takes on average, 4 months of trying in order to conceive, and we planned on it taking about as much. In our case, when we started trying, she was pregnant within a month, and we later found out we were having twins. Needless to say, that has made us a bit safer with out birth control.

Just curious - when your um, star QB is about to win the game - do you pull out or let him finish his business in the end zone?

I guess I'm a lil nervous leaving him in the end zone - although yes, that's what the pill is for, it seems a lil safer to pull him. Ok and yes, I know she can still get pregnant if you pull him, but aren't the odds better? (And this is assuming she's on the pill, not pulling out when she's not on it)

he finishes his business. i think i am infertile without the pills anyways. 🙁
