What say you ATOT, sports or not?


My opinion is that women can play sports just as well as men, they just started playing too late and will be constantly behind the crest of progression.

That said, I still find them highly entertaining, hell, I like womens' futball more than men's soccer, and softball usually gives a more entertaining game than baseball.

I'm not sure what you mean by women being able to "play just as well as men." Women can have the same technique and sound fundamentals, but height, strength and speed are huge advantages.

Yeah, and since men have primarily been the athletes of the human species, it'll take some time for women to catch up.

Oh wait, every guy like's 5' 100 lb women, never mind.

Um... from a biological standpoint, it's impossible for women to catch up unless the evolutionary pattern of men drastically changes. I think you have a problem accepting facts.

Meh, women have superior lower body strength, they could do better in kick ball and soccer.

Depends on the sport.

Women's World Cup was awesome.

Women don't have the physical size of men so they tend to play with more skill then men in many sports. Basketball is dominated by men who can dunk, but women can't so their game is totally different (as is college mens)

Volleyball and Tennis would be two more examples of where the women can be just as entertaining.

regular old volleyball is pretty good, too. and don't forget tennis. oh, and swimming (mostly).

...it's sad, I guess. The only reason I watch women's sports is for the hotties. :\ (though that isn't much different from many of the girls I know that watch men's sports.)

That's the funniest load of bullshit that I've read in a while because I know you firmly believe it. Thinking every negative somehow has a counterpart that just blasts the competition out of the water and evens the playing field is probably one of the dumbest ideas in existence. The bottom line is: women are inferior at sports than men.

Well, every sport except getting dicks in vaginas.

MEH, it's true. Professional male sports are dominated by those so athletically gifted that they can ignore the fundamentals.

There was a big story a while back about Tracy McGrady and how he was so gifted that he never developed into his full potential. He never had to work at being good so he never gained the skills that could have made him one of the greatest of all time.

No one ever said that women were better.

The point was that women sports can be more enjoyable because they play with skill while the men dominate with size and power.

March Madness is awesome not because the players are better than the NBA but because the games are better.

Yes, I am well aware of your argument, but you are simply wrong. Saying men "dominate with size and power" and "women play with skill" is a ridiculous argument.
