If a woman tells you she can spot a gay man just by looking at him, don’t dismiss her claim out of hand.
Scientists say women really do have ‘gaydar’, which helps them spot whether a man is straight or gay just by looking at his face.
And the instinct is at its strongest when she is at her most fertile and in the mood for romance.
Their findings suggest that a woman’s ability to determine whether a potential male partner is straight or gay is linked to the impulse to have children.

Lead researcher, Professor Nicholas Rule said: ‘This effect is not apparent when a woman is judging another female’s orientation.

I guess there are always exceptions. My wife can't tell it's a gay person if he's bursting into flame at that moment. There's a dude in our church choir that's flaming gay (hey, there's nothing wrong with that, imho) and at first the wife kept asking me home come she never saw him with another woman. I thought she was kidding but eventually realized she was that really clueless about gayness. As if that's not bad enough, she can't identify lesbians either, especially the hot ones. It's a constant WTH for me with her on that topic.

Does she have low hormone levels?

you mean the kind of gaydar they have when theyre all horny and they try to get you to fuck them, but you turn their 250lb sweaty ass down? they get mad and call you gay? that kind of gaydar?

That's funny, just by looking at their faces. Most guys have gaydar but maybe not that tweaked.

You can tell. They have a certain look about their faces. Curiously, it's similar to the look some fanatical Christians have. Maybe in the closet? :^/

I've noticed that too. They often have that Freddie Mercury look about them.

What are the chances you're going to be ID'ing if someone is gay by looking at their face only? That's like looking at mugshots or yearbook pictures..

fashion + behavior + acting are all combinations that make it a lot easier.

A coworker recently notified me that two people in my old office were the gays, and she also correctly identified me as metrosexual. This is in contrast to my gay friend who thinks I'm in the closet.

I suspected and all, but thought they were just flamboyant.

Theres a rule about stereotyping and psychology.
When we dont see what fits our molds we dismiss is subconsciously.
Thats how women are able to say they always know when a man is lying. If she's wrong about him she just forgets it.
I suspect Gaydar works the same way.

Congratulations, it sounds like she is happy with you and has no need to look elsewhere.
