You want to talk about a car that appeals primarily to a male driver, it's the Lotus Elise.

A Porsche 911 at least has some luxury appeal. The Elise, on the other hand, is a pure driver's car that is short on creature comforts. Not many women would put up with the Elise for a daily driver...not many men either for that matter. It's more of a weekend/fun car and the buyers of cars like that tend to be primarily men.

The lotus isn't $100k+ like the 911 turbo. That makes a difference as well

Not this Elise talk again.
We get it: you love Elise.

Your topic title says 911. You can pick up a slightly used 911 for $50-60k easily which is a little more than the Elise but my point was that if the 911 is not a chick's car the Elise is even less so.

Women don't buy sports cars because they're not trying to compensate for being poorly endowed.

But the guys who buy those kind of cars appeal to women because all they see is a man with enough money to make them secure.

Bah, women. What can you do?

I'm stunned and speechless. Both the car and wife are keepers!

until the wife totals the car, rear-ending a truck while talking on the phone and attempting to quiet the baby in the back :p

You let her bum around town and rack up the miles in that! You're a better man than me!

Anymore pics?

Here's one more, of it sitting in the shop waiting on more upgrades. You can see from the picture that unfortunately, one standard (comfort leather, heated) seat had to be put back in, so that there's easy access to the babyseat in the back. :( The driver's seat is still the lightweight, carbon fiber shell GT3 seat though:

600hp is so clearly insufficient

well for one, he runs a pretty successful deals site (www.gotapex.com) like in his sig. i'd guess he gets a good amount of income from advertising through his site. i wish i had me some of that advertising money (or power) too.

you are SO wrong! most of the women you see driving porches own them! but you are half right i guess sine i don't think any of them actually purchased the car, it was either purchased by their husband or SO. In the end though the car is theirs as a daily driver. Also what man would let their wife drive their porche? especially a 911 twin turbo..

My parents driveway is a steep hill leading up to the road. When I was a kid my mom usually had a FWD car, and my dad usually had a 4WD truck or SUV - and a Corvette. In the winter when it snowed if my mom couldn't get her car out of the driveway she'd take the Corvette, because its wider tires got better traction going up the hill. :Q I imagine my dad would probably get pretty pissed when she did this...
