I don't get why women decide to play these games. Just be straight foward about it. Its gotten to the point where I nearly write off any beautiful girl because I've seen them all, I've talked to them all, and 99% of them have this attitude thing going, and this desire to play with you. I simply don't care to deal with it.

Granted there are two girls I know that are beautiful outside *and* in, but they're already taken (pretty much permanently too). Rather disheartening, really, as I know I'm not going to meet many more of those...and even if I do, it probably wouldn't work out: they deserve someone more fun and less boring (i.e., not a nerd, no matter the looks that I have going for me).

Such is the dilemma of a nerd?

But has anyone found a way to be less concerned with a girl's looks? That would deal with part of this problem...its just that...you can't change your tastes it seems.
 
it depends on what youre looking for when it comes to games. to get laid, they can be fun and a great rush. looking for long term, and its best to just be honest and up front about it when they try to play. you may be surprised at the women that will get it and stop.
 
Who cares about their games.

1) Apply alchohol
2) Subtley damage self esteem
3) Take advantage
4) Move on.

Works on 90% of beautiful women. Ugly women actually usually have higher self esteem.

Spend all day tomarrow starring at the sun, you won't care how they look anymore 🙂 sorry but i know no other way.
 
Don't worry too much... they all get old and ugly. A high percentage get fat as well. Remembering this will serve you well when you think long term. 😉

You've already lost the battle if you keep calling yourself a nerd and don't think you're in the same league as them. Why wouldn't you deserve a female that you are attracted to? It sounds like you've got a whole ball of self-esteem issues that you need to iron out. Instead of settling for an ugly chick with a "great" personality, why don't you just try for what you want.

Place little importance on whether or not it works out, because really it's not a huge deal. Behind every girl you see that is a knock out, will be 99 more. Start working out, start reading up on male fashion. Eliminate all the road blocks that you might encounter. Being fit and having nice clothes makes you feel a TON better about yourself. Hell, if you don't know any fashion tips, ask some of your female friends for advice.
 
IMO, nerd is never a positive term. Geek seems to be a term that's taken a positive connotation, at least in recent years.

FWIW, being a geek/nerd doesn't automatically mean you're boring. You could very well be, but not all are. In my experience, geeks have a lot more knowledge and interests than most people, but what they lack is the social skills to communicate it.

Yeah I've got all that, and feel great about how I look. But its my lack of self-control and singlemindedness/dedication to what I want. The other thing is a seeming difficulty I have in a). expressing what I'm thinking and b). finding stuff to talk about in general.
I think I can fix those things by starting a journal.....and sometimes I feel dedicated to doing it, but the next morning, I don't feel like it anymore and it just doesn't seem attractive to me. So I don't do it. Such is my concern over "deserving" or not.

Yeah....don't care much what my friends think of her, as long as she's at least somewhat attractive. But I want her to be attractive just because. Do you not think so too? I find watching a beautiful woman to be very entertaining. Not in undressing her in my mind or anything of the sort, but just...interesting I guess. The same reason I like watching animals, or listening to music...just because its beautiful.

as long as you learn and always remember that women are like /\/\/\/\/\ and men are like this ------------ in their thinking and emotions, you might have a little more understanding of them.
