Woman Who Faked Miscarriage May Be Charged

OAKLAND PARK (CBS4) ?

A South Florida woman who reportedly faked a miscarriage may face charges.

The Broward Sheriff's Office said just before 8 a.m. the Oakland Park Fire Rescue department received a 911 call about a woman who allegedly had a miscarriage in a bathroom. When firefighters arrived at the woman's apartment, located at 95 N.E. 41st Street, they found the woman and what looked like a placenta, but no baby or fetus.

Firefighters then contacted the sheriff's office. After questioning the woman reportedly confessed to BSO detectives that she had staged the incident to fool her boyfriend who thought she was pregnant and used 'animal tissue' to fake a miscarriage.

While the deputies did not charge her with a crime, state prosecutors are considering charging her with lying to authorities and filing a false police report.

I think this is fair. Considering what an unwanted child does to a man emotionally knowing he's completely fucked out of any decision post that moment and that on her whim the woman can basically use the threat of 18 years of fiscal ruin at his expense to make him bend over backwards to serve his whims, she damn fucking better be able to be charged for faking this shit. Put a little bit of equilibrium into this bullshit "equal rights" between men and women in the US Justice system over child bearing.
