Sick.

But seriously, what good does putting the woman in jail do beyond "getting back" at her? She'll never get custody of a child ever again, so seriously, whats the point? Spare the tax payers the expense of having to give her room and board.

Yeah. Just take away custody from all the child abusers. That's punishment enough. They don't need to do time...especially at my expense.

Well honestly, what purpose does it serve? You're not going to rehabilitate someone like that, all you can do is get "revenge" on them by locking them up for x number of years. Better off either killing them or letting them go.

Death is too severe. It doesn't fit the crime. But if you don't punish people like this, what will stop them from doing it again? Or stop someone else from doing it. That's like saying you don't ticket speeders because you aren't going to get them to quit speeding.

I get lots of tickets and i still speed. Its a compulsion. 😉

I think the 10 year sentence was appropriate, considering the guy doing the molestation got 15.

They were equal partners in crime. They should have equal punishment.

Such lack of respect of life and children, much less your own, should result in death. You are less than an animal, and thus do not deserve to live.

Well, the appeals court wants to give her a greater punishment.
Also, he is a pedophile, something that supposedly has a high recedivism rate. What she did can be prevented by taking away her parental rights.

Thank goodness we live in the US where this is considered a severe crime. In many countries this is accepted behavior, and way more common than most of us care to know.

Damn, she should have known better...I'd have charged at least $50 a pop.

I don't know if you'd say things like that in person, but I figured I'd give you some advice anyway. A lot more people than you may think are affected by this sort of thing so you should really watch what you say. I'm not personally offended but I say this after finding out what happened to various friends of mine that came as a real shock. Made me never joke about the subject again because you never know who around you may be smiling politely on the outside and reliving old wounds on the inside.

Die. Die, die, die, die, die. DIE.
I don't even care if it's a quick, painless death, just get her out of here.
Even beyond whoring your own kid out, you've got to be seriously fscked in the head to hold your own kid down while it's happening.

I don't think that our justice system is set up to handle something like this.

It's times like these that I think we need our own version of Siberian Goulags for these people to go and work at. As for the cost, well, I certainly don't mind paying an extra $.01/yr or whatever my share is so that she stays as uncomfortable as possible for as long as possible.
