Here's the short version...
In that time there were 5460 attacks with injuries and and of that Pits were involved in 3617 or 69%.
In that time there were 2436 child victims and of that Pits were involved in 1443 or 61%.
In that time there were 1875 adult victims and of that Pits were involved in 1379 or 75%.
In that time there were 593 fatalities and of that Pits were involved in 307 or 53%.
In that time there were 3285 maimings and of that Pits were involved in 2249 or 70%.
When you look at the larger group of Molosser breeds that include Pits, Rotties, Cane Corsos, Mastifs etc the percentages are: 86%, 81%, 89%, 76%, 86%.
The next most dangerous breed is the Rottweiler, but it's way down the totals relative to Pits.
