Where the fuck were the FAU police? Last I checked, the campus was not that big, and they have a fairly sizable police force on campus.

The first thing I could make out was "oh my FUCKING God." The next thing was "I will KILL. THE. FUCK OUT OF YOU!!!". Hopefully she's been dismissed or put on probation for that.

Pretty sure there was a "you betta recognize!!!11," too, but that might have just been a matter of anticipation.

edit - yeah, so I just finished the video... screw dismissal, she should rot in jail for a month or two. How many people did she assault? Two, three?

The reaction to this video is sad.

The young woman was recognized by the professor as a good student who has had very polite email communication with him in the past. For whatever reason she had some psychological breakdown and everyone is ready to throw her in jail.

If she were a young white woman I believe everyone would be complaining that the police tased her, the black students egged her on, etc. I actually believe if she were white an ambulance would have been called instead of or in addition to the police, and they would have taken her to a hospital instead of only police arriving to throw her in the back of a car, tase her, and haul her off to jail.

Pretty pathetic display by most everyone involved.

We can play the what if game, and complain about race all you’d like, but she did get physical with people. Regardless of race, that was assault and should be treated as such. I don’t think if she was white people would suddenly be offering her tea and asking more about her feelings, they’d be still treating it like assault. I couldn’t make out the other video where she got tasered, so I can’t really comment. I’d like to believe though, more so with all the cameras going that the cops didn’t get out their car and just taser her.

dude, she had a mental breakdown. you can't seriously think that all loud black women are like this. let's say that she's your typical, run-of-the-mill, racist, loud black woman... you seriously think that she somehow would have climbed the scholastic ladder enough to get into a university, much less a college classroom? you don't think she's ever come in contact with other white people along that path? you think this is a typical freak-out that she might have had in the past? let's say, for example, she needed to take the sats... you think if she was like this normally that she wouldn't have flipped out and just failed the test altogether and caused a problem within the testing area that might have made national news?
 
i'm surprised no guy came up and put her in a sleeper hold... i sure as shit would have. you never know with crazy people in universities anymore.

This is probably true; but because our implicit bias we can't recognize this: no one thinks about the disparity because other bias has informed it.


OH wait! If she was white threatened to kill "ten thousand black mother-fuckers" she would have been ghetto-stomped to death... I forgot, my bad.
