Cops are eyeing a suspect's use of craigslist in his wife's rape.

According to police in North Carolina, a 25-year-old Kannapolis man allegedly used the online service to enlist a man to rape his own wife. Cops say the man sought an assailant to have sex with his wife using ?scare tactics?, without her knowledge or consent.

The victim, whose name has not been released, called 911 early Sunday morning after a knife-wielding assailant raped her in her bedroom. The husband was in the room during the assault, police said. The couple's two children were also in the house but were reportedly unaware of the incident.

Authorities grew suspicious of the husband after no sign of force entry was found in the house, and information he provided didn't add up. He is being held on $200,000 bail.

Police are still investigating the identity of the assailant. It is unknown whether the husband paid the man to commit the rape.

"We share the public's horror that such a crime was committed, and our heart goes out to the victim," Susan MacTavish Best, a craigslist spokeswoman, told the Associated Press.

What they are probably not reporting (or not being told) is the wife had a "forced fantasy", and the husband was trying to make it come true.

Problem is that women don't actually WANT what they fantasize about.

The radio show that I heard the story on said that the news article they had said that was not the case. Dunno if it's reliable, but that's what was reported on the radio.

I didn't bold it because IMHO it has nothing really to do with the story. The fact the kids were in the house doesn't really matter, because the kids didn't know.
