Emergency room?
All she needs is a good set of sheep sheers.

Who uses that much?

And why are there leaves and twigs stuck on it?

She probably realized that there was a problem after she sprayed it on her head before she got around to putting her hands in it.

Expanding foam doesn't start out as that much, it expands after you have sprayed it.

You don't spray mousse directly into your hair. You spray some into your hands, then apply it to your hair.

Expanding foam doesn't start out as that much, it expands after you have sprayed it.

The foam spray expands maybe 3:1 at best, but it expands out pretty damn quick. It's also super-sticky.

Well, even the link says there has to be more to the story. You don't get twigs and leaves stuck in your hair applying mousse.

Mousse expands some, too

I thought you'd use a golf ball-sized amount
Even if it expands to softball sized ... It's not that bad.

I'm going with a theory of trying to get high off the propellant. Shot up into the air and landed back on her head/shirt.

Better theory than the news story

But huffing something that could permanently block oxygen from reaching your lungs ... That's messed up.

There are different kinds.
Some expand very large with great force, others expand same size, but low force (window/door).
I have used many brands, types and grades over the years.

The Great Stuff Big Gap (black can) should not be messed with. It gets huge with great force.
Probably 10:1 (1/4" bead initial to 3" final).

She ran through the forest exclaiming "I would have got away with moussing my hair too if it weren't for those damn kids!"

On second thought, she looks like she might be bad at Engrish. Better make that:

She ran through the forest exclaiming "I would of got away with mousing my hair too if it wasn't for those dang kids!"

Who knew Shaggy and Scooby were such pranksters?

Homeless person, someone offered to fix her hair up really pretty for her? "Practical joke" - (which it isn't)? It wouldn't look like that if someone just sprayed it up in the air and it landed on her head, and when first applied on, it does experience the effects of gravity to an extent - someone was using those branches to keep it from bending downward for the 20 or so seconds until it's mostly expanded and starts setting up a bit.

Unimpeded or if it's filling a gap? I've used that stuff before too, and a 1/4" bead only expands to maybe 1" at best in an open area. Where you see the bigger swells are when it's actually filling a gap and being squeezed back out. But yeah, shit comes out of the can like silly string!

A couple years ago, I would have had trouble believing stories like this... Now I see it everyday in person.

Aaaaah. It's been a day. I figured you'd be much better off with vag foam in your hair than expanding foam.
