Aggressive driving is not dangerous. Stupid aggressive driving is.
Me speeding or changing lanes too often while I'm in complete control of the car and paying 100% attention the entire time is infinitely safer than someone doing the speed limit in the right lane but texting and changing the music on their ipod.
Now if I'm speeding around corners when its snowing, the of course thats bad. STILL no worse than not paying attention.
Now if you want to nitpick with the world "all" then of course it sounds ridiculous that all x are worse than x. But come on, most of our life experiences point to most women being worse than most men at driving. My own GF says very few of her girl friends and herself should ever be allowed to drive. It sounds like most people here know of more women that got into accidents than men.
Statistics about overall accidents as already shown end with women getting into more accidents. It doesn't matter if men are more likely to die in their accidents. A man dieing cause someone cut him off while he was speeding is not indicative of him being a worse driver than some woman that has been in 10 fender benders. Same for traffic violations, of course men have more because they speed. Cops rarely give tickets for the terrible moves I often see brain dead people do on the road.
ALSO its downright sexist/discriminatory for insurance companies to charge more for men and younger people before they even do anything. I'm 22, have gotten a few speeding tickets but have never got into an accident. My dad is 60 and hasn't been in an accident in FORTY years despite speeding constantly. Are we lucky? surely. Are we always paying attention? Yes. So why do we have to pay more because of other peoples' inability to drive?
