Being sick unnecessarily is all the reason I need to get flu shots. I'm not willing to lose personal or work time being sick if it can be easily avoided.

The Americas have been declared polio free since 1994. The last confirmed case was recorded in 1991.

If what you say is true then I am sure your friend's name would be very easy to find in some medical journals as well.

I thought flu shots were pretty much ineffective because they are a guess of the most common strain of flu and they reduce the effect not make you immune.
