Woman cited for breastfeeding while driving

Breastfeeding moron

(watch the video)

This woman is unreal. She has five kids. Her baby was hungry so she breastfed while on her phone while driving. A concerned citizen called 911 and reported her. For her acts of stupidity she received 2 citations ... the child endangerment carries a max 180 days in jail.

The police explain to the reporter how a deploying airbag can kill her baby ... and she still does not get it. She even mentions that she will probably do it again.

poor kids. They are of the same gene pool.

What an idiot. I hope they take her child away.

Her last name is also Compton, coincidence?

Edit: She said that she doesn't see a difference in the airbag hitting her or the airbag hitting her child...

That's brutal. What was she even doing driving in that situation? If you can't manage your time and have too much stuff on the go it's time to give up something. I can't stand people who are on their cell while doing other stuff especially driving. If you think that call is that important that you really have to take it, then stop what you're doing, pull over or something.

Children under 4 or 40 pounds must be properly restrained in a child safety seat.

What a stupid fucking sentence. Every child under 4 pounds is under 40 pounds. There is absolutely no reason for "4 or" to be a part of that sentence. And are there any car seats for children under 4 pounds? Isn't that a very low birthweight, like in the dangerous, hospitalized range? I wouldn't think you'd be driving infants that small around.

They meant 4 years of age.

Should be worded better. Children under 4 years of age or weighing less than 40 pounds; problem solved. When I read it the first time I understood it EXACTLY like Atomic Playboy did, there is nothing to describe the "under 4," so you just look at what's describing the next subject "40 pounds" since there's a preposition there.

It's amazing that journalists always make the most blatant grammatical mistakes.

I filled in the word "year," since it didn't make sense otherwise. The actual law should be clearly phrased, so it's the journalist fault for paraphrasing it incorrectly.

Or the readers fault to lack of reasoning. If you take a second to think about it, why would it be 4 pounds? lol...

Dumb ace. Dayton should be nuked anyway. That place is a cesspool.

Yea seriously. I guess she thinks the baby on her lap will keep it safe if an airbag deploys. Great thinking lady.

Give the baby a damn bottle. Geez.

And please don't tell me that little girl that ran up to her in the video was the one she was breastfeeding. She looks way too old to still be breastfeeding.

This lady is dumb.

I'm against laws that are made "for your safety" though. I'm no fan of the nanny state. At least be honest about it and phrase the law to mean that we don't give a shit about the welfare of an idiot, we just want to make sure that those idiots don't crash into any good people.

I respect your opinion ... but how do you feel if this idiot got into an accident and her baby was severely injured, requiring a lot of very expensive care. Would you want to support her baby financially through your tax dollars or whatnot?
