Woman arrested 8th time for dine and dash in Philly

Investigators say a local woman has become an expert at avoiding her bill at restaurants. Her most recent crime marks her eighth arrest in just three months. NBC10's George Spencer reports the local restaurant industry is relieved by this arrest.

What kind of "expert" gets arrested eight times in three months? She sounds pretty shitty at it.

If she was an "expert," she wouldn't get caught/arrested 8 times.

[edit]
OK. I guess she wasn't *caught* all those times.

She did no jail time, apparently.

I'm an expert because I have never been caught committing a dine-and-dash.

It helps that I never committed a dine-and-dash.

Hey, if you keep getting away with it (ie, even if caught, not end up in jail), there's little incentive for her to stop. By the time she's caught for the 3rd or 4th time, it's really time to send a message and put her in jail for a few months.

Post her pic at every restaurant in town. Make her persona non grata.

My daughter is a waitress. Last week a party of 5 came in, ordered steaks and lots of drinks - the works. They treated her like sh*t and were generally nasty. They skipped on a $170.00 bill.

I can sorta understand that a single person could avoid shame after getting away with it...as long as nobody that knows him/her personally knows what he/she did.

Something's wrong with our culture that it's possible for 5 like-minded people to get together and do this. Where is their sense of shame? Doing this lets your personal friends all know that you're a piece of shit (and you learn that they are shit too).

lol not really an expert if she got caught that many times. Seems to me it would not be that hard to do in some places though, especially if they have a side door that is not the main entrance and kind of secluded. Key is to be on foot and not by car as you can get off the property much faster, no need to try to doge parking lot traffic etc. Not that I'd condone such an act, that's an ass move to do. It's not only giving a FU to the person that served you, but it's giving a FU to the kitchen staff who made a meal for you, too.

It's probably escaped you folks' notice...but this "lady" has been caught 8 times. Not very "expert" in my opinion...prolific? Yes...Deserving of a severe beating? Hell yes...but expert? Not even close.
