It's amusing, but mainly just sad. Not surprising for someone in that condition to harbor extreme neurosis of some sorts and to react defensively even if it's irrational.
I believe that only rarely a genetic or other medical predisposition explains obesity, but I do sympathize that morbid obesity is ALWAYS symptomatic of sickness of some sort, whether psychological or otherwise, and I feel pity for those whose lives are so distorted.

airlines should have seats for fat people
but they can't put those seats all the way in the back or charge extra for them either. if they do, then it's discrimination....
I think they should make those seats larger now....I'm an average guy and even I think those seats are too small for me. there's no elbow or leg room at all. They should make each seat a captain's arm chair seat

I meant that this thread has a plethora of racist assumptions. Such as The Godfathers comment about her probably being on welfare. Also, the assumption that the woman acted out... stereotypical of large black women

Well, She has no reason to sue, she is fat, took up 2 seats, so she should have to pay for both seats...
Don't assume she is "well off" because she owns a company.. It takes a couple of days to get a business license, it says she does cosmetics. She probably got a business license, and started selling that Mary K crap that a lot of women try to sell... This can all be done out of a car..

i doubt walmart has a policy that says you have to buy the product for u to walk out of the store with it, because its just common sense. if you take up 2 seats then why the heck wouldn't you have to pay for 2 seats??? isn't that just common sense.
Obviously if you take up 2 seats then you should pay for two seats. However, to fully occupy two seats you'd have to weight like 600 pounds. People that obese rarely leave their homes.
SW Airlines policy states that you need to purchase 2 seats if you cant pull the armrests down. That isn't something that's common sense. You would need to see that in writing or have that explained to you to fully grasp the concept.

If I was fat, and this situation occured, I would assume right off it was because I was the size of a whale... What kind of racism entails making the discrimiated buy extra plane seats?
