That makes sense though. He didn't actually have a bullet to the brain, his skull stopped the bullet. The 30 seconds was minor concussion / getting knocked out from the transfer of force only.

To the person who had a question about whether Wolverine got AIDS, in an X-Men comic (don't know which) they actually purposely infected Wolverine with a disease that was killing off the planet and his mutant ability generated an antivirus which they duplicated to save the world.

With an 'unbreakable' skeleton and near instantaneous regenerative abilities, he is simply way to powerful. I remember when he got injured, it would take him quite some time to recover in the comics, but in X3, he heals instantly, just like superman.

Edit: Also, when he stabs someone and gets their blood on his claws, then retracts him, doesn't he face the possibility of getting AIDS? Or does his 'healing' abilities prevent him from getting any STD's?

Ya who knows he probaly has aids

Regarding your Edit, same question applies to that Kid Omega. He killed that doctor lady and although it didn't show blood on his spines, what happens when he retracts them into his body? He has no healing powers like wolverine.

Another hypothetical/fun question:

Who would win: Juggernaut vs Hulk

Both are huge, big, strong, limitless power, etc. I'm talking about the Marvel comics portrayal and not the movie chars.

In the comics the hulk was the only thing that really could ever "stop" juggernaut, meaning his limitless momentum. I don't know what that means to the question but it's interesting anyway.

Juggernaut and Hulk have fought before in the comics, Hulk won.

As far as Wolverine taking a while to regenerate when Rogue touched him, that's because when rogue touches a mutant they lose their powers temporarily and rogue gains them.

Modern Juggernaut would put up a good fight but lose fairly decisively. He's been depowered in recent years so at some point he'd just not be able to keep up.

Classic Juggernaut, I'd have to go with Juggernaut. Most of his losses were because the X-Men didn't fight him directly, they'd dance around him and go for the links holding his helmet to his costume, once that's off he's vulnerable to the psychics. The Hulk has been just plain knocked out several times. There aren't many that can do it, but Classic Juggernaut would be one.

I think Juggernaut specifically says that his powers are magical. Also, if someone else gets ahold of the Gem of Cyttorak doesn't Juggernaut lose half his power because they gain power? I think I remember Juggernaut throwing the gem into space or something to prevent anyone from getting it.

I like Jackman as Wolverine. I'm sure we'd all like to see the movies follow more closely to the actual stories, but that's Hollywood for you. That being said, the movie was about what I expected. I was really hoping it would be amazing and epic, but it wasn't. It was probably better for people who have never read the comics or seen the cartoon, though.

Seriously though, what's with the X-Men only having 6 members to fight off a giant horde of no-name mutants, most of which you never see use any kind of power? There many other characters I would have liked to see in there. How about Gambit, Rogue, Cyclops and Nightcrawler? Angel could have had a larger part as well.

Simple answer...not enough screen time. It was already a two-hour movie and lots of X-Men already got the shaft in that deptartment (Colossus, Angel, Kitty, Iceman).

More time could have passed after X2 and they could have built the team up a little because of the loss of Jean. It's not necessary to go into detailed explanation on each character's backstory. To non-X-Men fans, the other X-Men would have been about the same as Colossus and Kitty. Maybe we'll get to see some of them in the Wolverine movie or maybe they'll make X4: Oh fvck! It's Apocalypse!

yeah in the animated series the dark phoniex wudve raped wolverine, in the final sequence .....if u havent seen it yet... see it... its awesome. also theve turned mangeto into a bastard... he betrayed mystique soooo fast and xavier wudve never done that to jean grey!!! anyways the movie was still awesome. grammer plays an amazing beast but i was hoping for more rampage.... and the morlocks was very un-explained.... my friend had never seen the animated series or read the comics ans she didnt understand the danger room the head of the sentinel the morlocks or the entire rating system (she loved the first 2) she was slightly lost in this one.... but then again i was happy they finally had the danger room ....

MY thoughts on x3:

Firstly The thing that pissed me off was the treatment of pheonix. Where are the Shi-ar? The M-Kron Crystal? Gladiator and the other galactic aliens??? One of the best story lines in the X men Saga was butchered by hollywood.

also: After hyping Archangel and juggernaught so much in the commercials, I was really disappointed to see only like 10 seconds of them in action. Archangel just flies around and thats it. Juggernaught chases kitty for like 2 minutes and thats it.

I think they tried to do too much in a 2 hour movie. Too many characters, too many plots and sub plots, Brett Ratner couldnt handle it all.

You know its a bad movie when the Best part is Juggernaught saying "Im the Juggernaught Bitch".

He actually started healing faster as the movie went on. I mean, it pretty much made him more powerful than the Phoenix.

Probally went with a taller wolverine so he looked more 'leaderesque' or have a larger screen presence.

He was the star of all 3 movies, Jean's love interest, and pretty much the team leader.

What about Colossus versus Juggernaut? Or is he just your regular tough guy?
