will this be only 360? (all the devs seem to be hyping 360 alot). im probably going to get a 360 anyways (for the mce extender) but im still holding out a bit of hope for a ps3.

only game i've been playing online for the last few months. so fun. i wish that it had a high resolution texture pack though. oh well, can't really complain since it's free and so fun!

ET's one of those games..where you'll put up with the outddated graphics because the gameplay is jsut that good.

Goddamn combat medics, really tick me off. They're usually the best playes on the server, too. And alot of the servers implement mods to make them more poweful (poison needle, needle recharges health).

But hey, that's why I like to play them =)
 
heh, with all this talk of ET, maybe someone can set up a server?

or does anyone know how much upload speed is required for at least a 10 person server? i would do it but my upload is only about 40 kB/sec

oh, it sucks that the video doesn't show any footage on the x360.

Oh, so I found out a few things for Wolf:ET
?128kbps upload is good for 4-5 players, including the host. I checked my upload and I was wrong, I'm getting ~320... I might try to start a server this afternoon and see how it goes, but my computer isn't on all the time, so my server wouldn't be ideal. I did have someone PM me about possibly starting a server, yay! 🙂
?There is a mod for Wolf:ET. http://truecombat.com/intro.php But it looks like it's no longer WWII and isn't finished. It looks like the higher resolution textures from Wolf: RTCW don't work in ET.

If someone doesn't start a dedicated thread on WolfET, I'll start one when i get back this afternoon 🙂

Poison Needles are about as easy to get as a knife kill. medic + flak jacket + adrenaline FTW
Total Combat Elite is supposed to be CSish. BTW are you guys playing on 2.55 or 2.6 servers?
 
Return to Castle Wolfenstein has been my favorite pc game for the past 3 years or so, best online pc game other than the Command and conquer series. Cannot wait for its next multiplayer.
 
Looking forward to this. Really enjoyed RTCW for what it was.

Would love to see something similar on the Xbox 360 with all the "trimmings".
