I can't remember the last time I haven't slept on an arm. sometimes both.

But in your case, it sounds like you were raped in your sleep by hotel staff. Did you check the room for chloroform?

This. Its probably nothing, but still worth checking out. There is a chance it could be serious, particularly if it is not a one time occurrence.

Agreed, something that's producing systemic numbness not just in a small area could be really serious, and worth a checkup.

Did the OP actually confirm he could move? If not it's highly likely that it was sleep paralysis. OP did you drink more than usual before going to bed, sometimes that will cause it as well.

That happened once to me. About 6 months later I had a seizure and they think I have MS or sarcoidosis or something but I had other neurological symptoms beforehand as well (nausea & ocular migraines). If is just that and only happened once personally I wouldn't worry about it.

One time I had one of my legs completely go to sleep. I think no blood must have not been going to it all night because when I woke up I literally fell right down and could not walk. My leg was like a very light blu-ish and I was kind of freaking out.

By the time I got in the shower the blood was coming back and damn it hurt like hell.
Err..body parts don't fall asleep due to lack of blood flow. The cells would die without oxygen. Its because the nerves get pinched and the connection with your brain is interrupted. Thats why you get that wierd tingly feeling as the nerves begin working properly again.
