woke up with 2 parallel foot long gouges on my side..

so I was showering this morning and noticed a burning on my left side...and there's these 2 parallel gouges about a foot long from my hip, up my side...the skin isn't broken, but they burn when I twist or touch the area....wtf?
 
🙁 The weird thing is I had a dream about my old cat I had growing up, and I think it might've clawed me in the dream...odd thing is, I have NO fingernails, I JUST clipped them last night so it can't be from my finger nails

I doubt scabies (you would have a progressively more itchiness with bumps). Don't know enough about shingles, but from the pictures of shingles, I doubt it.

It could be stretch marks from working out too hard. Did you lift weights recently? This happens every once in a while.

It more than likely was caused by your dream and you moving around in your bed. If the problem persists during the day, go to a doctor. Otherwise, wait till tomorrow.
