he said he's working in IT and as a HS intern, I doubt they will get him a secret.....

I didn't see the HS part...a lot of times at defense contractors you get clearances even in IT.

yes, but not a HS intern who probably won't even be near any sensitive material

I interned in the fall for NGST (Northrup Grumman Space Technology) in the communications electronics division. As a 4th year student (in a 5 year program), I got paid 40% more then the average intern from my school. Not only that, but I got to do some real design work an a device that will eventually go into a satellite.

They put me on temporary leave when I left, and told me I could come back at any time with 2 weeks notice.

I did a co-op for one term for a division of Lockheed Martin 15 years ago or so.

I was paid $12 an hour back then.

I was partying so damn much back then I honestly can't remember much about it.
