I realize he is getting pretty old and has had some recent medical problems...but he was just on TV and he sounded impaired like he had a stroke or something. Also, they had so much make up on him he looked orange...


I think the poor guy should just hang it up....

It's kind of sad to see him in that shape on TV...and they put about 15 tons of makeup on him...

Probably not, but I'm sure it was he that wanted to do it. How could you say no to the guy? Besides, he's only doing a very small part of it anyway.

having just seen him on TV I thought the same thing, I know if I were in that kind of shape I wouldn't want to be on TV...amazing that he can still do it, but personally if I was in his shoes I would have retired a while ago.

The mans a new years institution. It takes a lot of guts and fortitude to do what he feels he should be doing. I think he showed a marked improvement from last year. Just think next year will be better.
