Yes it does.

First one freaked me out. Nothing worse than freaky little demon girls in horror movies.

The Grudge was absolutely retarded. Let's just throw some creepy images at you and claim it has some sort of story.

Everytime I see the trailer for the new one coming out I start to laugh. They just throw a whole bunch of weird looking kids in random places and attempt to make it creepy.

The Grudge is the only movie that really crept me out, besides The Shining which I saw when I was a little kid. The Ring was very weak by comparison.

Looks like another thumbs down flick to me. The first one was horrible... horror has basically died.

Compared to American-inspired horror films such as The Texas Chainsaw Massacre or The Exorcist?

I don't even bother with American horror films, they're just plain predictable and not scary.

I hated the grudge with a passion, I hate the previews for the second one even more!

If you want a good horror flick that is actually scary you should try "Wolf Creek".

that movie wasn't scary at all IMO. it was just kinda fvcked up.

i think the grudge 2 looks pretty dumb. it looks like they are going overboard with it. the first one was okay.

as someone else stated above, the horror genre is basically dead. i'm looking forward to the new texas chainsaw massacre though.

Not scary. All they are going for <SCREAM> is shock <DEAD BODY> factor. The movie itself <BLOOD FLOWING FROM EYEBALL> has no build up.

dude the Ring 1 to me, has had the best plot ever... I can't imagine reading a book with the same descriptions as the movie, it was be so-award winning.

Ring 2, although picture quality was quite stunning... the movie should have not had a second release being as terrible as it was.

as far as the grudge 2, I'm not going to watch it since I live alone right now. it wouldn't be healthy for me sleeping at night, although starcraft is probably not any healthier.

The excorcist was well done. Comparing todays movies to movies done 30 years ago is a fair argument.

I had troubles falling asleep for 2-3 days after watching The grudge. 2 looks like it might also be good, but it also seems possibly overdone. Movie Makers/Studios need to get back to releasing 1 movie per story, if you wanna franchise, make a TV series FFS!

I didn't like grudge 1 at all :( it was stupid imo

The ring I enjoyed a lot, definitly some scary sh!t. I didn't see the second one yet though, I heard it sucked.

I try to stay away from horror :) it's not worth it after with all the after-effects lol

I'm rather squeamish and usually anything can scare the crap out of me, but the commercials for The Grude 2 are downright comical. The only thing remotely creepy is the image of someone sticking a hand down someone else's throat.

That "meow" gets me everytime.

Pretty much. The horror movie is a completely dead genre. The last really good horror movie that I can remember (Event Horizon) came out almost a decade ago.

Wolf Creek absolutely sucked. From the Let's Just Throw All The F#cked Up Stuff We Can In school of film making, ala Hostel.
