Hmmm.... only advantage I see there is the wallmount ability. You don't really "need" the extra drive bay, but it is nice. Not a dealbreaker imho. But like it was stated earlier, not at that price. Heck, apple could even add a wallmount capability to their imacs one day. This is an overpriced HTPC at best. I'll rate it "meh".

Least dismissable attempt by someone other than Apple at an all-in-one since the original iMac.

Still not even close to a competitor, though.

well Gateway has made past attempts at the all-in-one-pc device.

i think not as much as i dont like iMacs this isnt good

Can't compete with the iMac as a day-to-day computer; only OK performance; no Bluetooth; offensive level of adware; clunky mouse and keyboard.

The bottom line: We don't recommend Sony's new VAIO LT19U as an all-in-one PC for everyday computing, but if you're shopping for a flexible, self-contained, HD-capable digital entertainment center, look no further. It has its flaws, and it's not cheap, but this new VAIO makes up for its shortcomings with sheer capability.

for the price, definitely. but do remember that imacs are using pretty top of the line hardware now that they have Intel Core Duo's in there.
and vista may be slower than OS X. Not sure if there have been any studies, don't really care though. Useless knowledge. ;)

yup useless. heh:)

still think its a pointless product. that type of consumer would want an imac. better overall usability for the purpose. windows pc's just dont have much of an advantage without the ability to game. think they are going to sell very few.

and the stand is kinda iffy... wall mount? for what? sitting very close to a wall? it doesn't seem to make much sense except as a coffee table gadget for some rich fellow
