Woah! HL2 graphics never seem to stop amazing me.

WTF F.E.A.R has no competition when it comes to Far Cry.

the quesy factor never bothered me, but then im not a wuss....heh

if you can eat sushi and stand on small boats in an ocean (or even do both together) without feeling sick then you can play HL2..lol

I thought the graphics in HL2 were pretty good, but the physics were what i enjoyed more...heh

storywise, well, its the middle chapter, its there to add a few bits of history and take you to the final chapter, its not meant to explain the entire story, this is a part mystery genre type thing......

I still prefer HL tho, the original, even today i'd rather play it than most other FPS...it just has something thats not definable to make it great...ok the graphics are outdated and the physics relatively rudimentary in comparison to HL2....but damn it keeps you playing ;-)

I don't either. Far Cry's AI is even dumb compared to HL2. They walk around with their ass hanging out... if they happen to take cover, you can easily flush them out by shooting at them and then they walk right out into your line of fire. Turning up the difficulty only seems to give them god's eyes so they know exactly where you are. When I first played Far Cry I thought the AI was good... and it was, a year and a half ago. Things have changed. The only "big" game that has worse AI than Far Cry is Doom 3. Of course, the baddies in Doom 3 are demons and don't really rationalize and strategize. Oh... Far Cry's AI is better than Pain Killer's... for the similar reasons I just listed for Doom 3... the baddies aren't supposed to be intelligent. It's been a while since I've played Ghost Recon or Raven Shield... so I can't comment on how those compare... maybe I'll give em a go again and see how those compare.

Depends on what version... If you are basing the AI on the demo, your right. Or even the 1.0 version of Far Cry. They had a bug with the AI that was addressed. After that, the AI was awesome. I do not think F.E.A.R. has anything like that, but it is just a demo. As far as HL2, I was not impressed with the AI either.

I think it has to do with the FOV. You need to change the FOV.
