wmp9 not working

when i try to open wmp9 a box comes up that says the letter g, with ok or cancel

when i press ok it says system must be restarted to complete installation...when i press cancel it says exit setup? blah blah

ive tried everything...windows updates, spybot, adaware, cant fix it

any ideas?

have you tried uninstalling wmp and then downloading and installing it again from ms?

go to the control panel > add/remove programs

select wmp and uninstall

i know that lol but its not there...theres only windows media player hotfixes
