UQ,
Re: the breakdown of the military by race (your linky).
It's about what I figured. Minorities are at least as represented in the military as they are in the general population. The question is, however, and as Moonbeam pointed out; Are the folks in the military advanced, as a rule, based on merit and is this condition marginally or significantly different than in the population in general (excluding the DoD)?
Every Navy selection board list is checked for "demographics" to make sure the numbers are right.
I'll discuss this particular matter no further.
You claim to know much about the workings of government UQ. And you make veiled suggestions about things you can't talk about as though they're some "top secret." How do you know so much? What exactly is your "government job"?
You wouldn't be lurking the forums for you boss, would you UQ?
It's fairly common knowledge around here that I am on active duty - Navy.
The people who died in New York City and Washington aren't the people who should have got what they deserved.
And just who are the people you refer to as "The same people who think we got what we deserved on 9/11"?
I don't understnd your first sentence. Are you implying that someone "deservred" what happened on 9/11.
There were some people who were clearly glad about what happened 9/11. Al Queda, their supporters, people were shown dancing in the street, etc. Those are the people I'm talking about.
