That is the most biased article ever. The are destroying the weapons on the sites they are stored because they are leaking and a MAJOR threat and totally unstable to be moved. The racism and economic implications aluded to in that article are complete and utter garbage, 70% of the countries chemical and biological weapons are based in the Deseret Chemical Weapons Depot in Toole Utah, a state with one of the lowest percentages of minorities in the country.

It seems as good a demographic reference as any to me. But, where I grew up it was only the poorest who got to live in the poorest sections of the City. (NYC). The rich folks had to live along Central Park or out on Long Island... where, of course, not too many blacks lived. Poor, however, knows no color. Getting unpoor does... perhaps the rolling eyes of Charrison above has a better reality to express..

The question is, however, and as Moonbeam pointed out; Are the folks in the military advanced, as a rule, based on merit and is this condition marginally or significantly different than in the population in general (excluding the DoD)?

Address the point. In WWII Japan was the aggressor. And there are people who claim they got what they deserved (although I find it difficult to believe it just so happened Germany surrendered before they could suffer a like fate).

The USA is the aggressor now. If we suffer more terrorist attacks due to the Bush administration's aggression will we be considered by these same people to be getting what we deserve?

Or are there separate rules for the USA and the rest of the world?
