WMC Woes

Hey guys,

I got a computer hooked up to HDMI to a TV, When I try to play HD video in WMC the program just starts lagging and takes forever to start playing.

Are there any WMC Alternatives that will actually work? I tried messing with XBMC but I cant get it to read any video files...

The Computer specs
X4 635
4gb ram
ATI 4200

What codec does the video file use ? Normally when windows had issue with playing video files it is the codecs at fault.

All that is needed for most people running win7 64 bit

^ I installed CCCP and they are MP4 files straight from HD camera.

Ill install those but I dont see how it will help the mp4 files, the first two are for MKV and the last is for Audio Decoder?
