I bought a gigaware ps3 remote. It has an IR usb dongle. works prefect on the ps3, but i can not get it to work in windows 7 media center.
For the remote on the pc i am using a harmony 880. I have set it as the default windows media center remote, and the Microsoft ir standard 1039. Both do nothing.
the dongle shows up under "human interface devices"
=hid-compliant consumer control device
=hid-compliant device
=Hid-complaint game controller
=usb input device
=usb input device
these are all the usb dongle. when remove it, they go away.
what am i doing wrong, and how do i correct it?
