WM6 so buggy - what was MS doing?

first off let me say i like my Mogul but WM6 is a joke so many things left unfinished. they should have fired the whole crew.

my main gripes


1 - once i create a catergory in contacts or mistype one. how do you edit or delete it?

2 - when i open contacts. i want to see the category of what i used last or what i use most not every f'n contact.

3 - change the colors of the themes easily

4 - bluetooth DUN , who the F wants PAN let us choose

5 - soft buttons - let us choose

hopefully someone knows how to fix these. i do know how to regedit my ppc so show me where

that Mogul is a POS (no offence) my neighbor had one and was telling me they couldn't send pictures to people, I fucked with it and I HATE WM6, much more then WM5 on my Q. Not sure if I'm lazy, if Sprint simply blocked SMS (why, I'd have no idea) or if WM6 just blows. I gave up. WM6 is obviously not a big deal as a lot of wm5 phones are getting a free upgrade to it, MS doesn't give free upgrades for anything I can remember.

Disclaimer: I only have a WM5 phone, but I can't imagine things have changed that dramatically.

Isn't it like WM5, where you can click on the contact, and then hit edit? It would be nice to do it straight from the contacts screen, though.

In WM5, you could do this by hitting "options->filter by->most recently viewed" in the contacts menu.

Yep, you're stuck with themes. Not sure I think this is a big deal.

It was indeed a screw-up - they enabled PAN in the default WM6 builds for the phone manufacturers, and all the mobile carriers went with it. Then again, DUN isn't going to work when the carriers switch to real TCP/IP networks (eg, WiMax), so maybe it's time to get PAN working. PAN is technically much better to be using anyways.

5 - soft buttons - let us choose

You can't? Settings->System->Buttons. Definitely one of the first things I change on my 6700, since I constantly hit voice dial by accident.

nope no option to edit categories once theyve been made

nope once you reopen its all contacts again

some soft buttons just not the 2 on the screen

Those aren't generally referred to as software buttons, IIRC.
