WLM Offline Messaging

Does the "offline messaging" feature in Windows Live Messenger (WLM/MSN) work for you? It hasn't worked for me in years. Always claims that "the following message could not be delivered to all recipients". It's not a big deal really, just wondering if anyone here has experienced this and/or has a fix.
 
i know how annoying msn can be. it works on mine now though. what os? does it do it to every person? google that error message and you'll find alot of results

It's Windows 7 64, but I don't think it's OS related. Hmm, from what I've determined so far it seems to only do it to @passport addresses. Interesting.
