seen it many many times. its one of the most popular reruns of the series.
Also saw it again when I purchased the DVD. Had good commentary.

Turkeys can indeed fly. While the bit made me laugh till I cried when originally broadcast, and hadn’t lost much of its comedic punch decades later, it’s still based on a falsehood.

I just remembered this one & wanted to post something funny, the guy who played Les had tears rolling down my face…just his facial expressions were comedic gold 😂

Wild turkeys can fly but the mutant freaks we eat can't

I saw one fly directly into the windshield of the car in front of me on the Merritt Parkway @ 70 mph ... guy nearly crashed.... the turkey OTOH pretty much exploded.

Fortunately I had the windows closed and AC on recirculate!

Seriously I see wild turkeys smashed on the side of the highway all the time during late summer/early fall.... live ones are a common sighting as well.

I used to see them when I lived in Nebraska. One of the times when there'd been a heavy snow, they were waddling down the plowed road in a flock :p
I don't actually recall seeing any as roadkill, that was mostly raccoons and opossums.

I saw a turkey fly across the road today. Uncommon for this area. They're around, but I could count the sighting I've seen ever on one hand.

Turkey season starts this coming Saturday in PA. I've been seeing them around this spring, just like always.
