Those flying monkeys scared the sh1t out of me when i was little.
On the brighter side Dorothy was a hottie.
That was a pretty low tech set up to run the Wizard, even for 1939.
Where did they find all the little people to play munchkins?

It's a pretty far-out concept, but they might have done a casting call looking for little people.

There was a 70's/80's movie that I think had Carrie Fisher in it called "Over the Rainbow' about all those Munchkins.

Future projects... The Hash Animation:Master community is working on 'TWO'... The Tin Woodman of Oz. No timeframe on release yet. They have almosted finished rigging the characters. The whole community was building plants and rocks a few months ago.

fire400, you have no appreciation for art. That movie, made over 60 years ago, has stood the test of time. It is an all time true classic. It's in my top 10 list. I too never get tired of seeing it. You are comparing apples to oranges, it doesn't hold.

yeah right, Narnia 2005 has better graphics and more fighting. Oz is about a girl who walks through a boring world with no battles. Narnia 2005 was better than the LOTR: Two Towers 2003.

So very true. One of the greatest movies of all time being compared to, being generous, a good movie of 2005.

The above really reminds me of the cripple fight in that episode of south park.

Damn, it's funny!

Edit: as for WOZ: Awesome film, and was the first film to feature colour, hence the somewhat garish colours liberally applied pretty much everywhere.

And yes, Judith Garland was indeed hot (she played dorothy for you plebs out there).

Now if you just had put that in your previous post, everyone's sarcasm detectors would've worked properly.

Edit: n/m. I just read some of your other posts. You're just an idiot.

Great classic movie. :D

I'm also reminded of the "Gay Tin Man" scene from a Family Guy episode...

Actually, there were quite a few to be released in color before Wizard of Oz. Notably, the Adventures of Robin Hood starring Errol Flynn and the Adventures of Tom Sawyer are just two, both being released in 1938. Snow White, one of Disney's most popular animated films, was released in 1937.
