I personally don't understand the big deal about becoming elite... and I agree with others who dont really like "so and so for elite" threads...

I'm not voting in this thread because I personally havent seen much about wiz... I havent seen all of the good things he has done, but that doesnt mean he hasnt done then(I miss a lot of what goes on around here), so I'll reserve the judgment for members with more knowledge of the situation....

I remember when the "elite" status first came into existence here on AT forums...it seemed as though the moderators wanted to give out elite status based entirely on what they have seen....
What that means is that all these threads can accomplish is bring attention to the "elected" users.... it's not up to us to judge who is eligible for elite status
I definately believe that it is far better to PM or email the moderators privately, because elite is not something you are supposed to want, its more something to be awarded out of nowhere when the mods notice your valuable input etc...
Anyways, what I am trying to say is... don't be surprised if Wiz doesnt recieve elite at this time(no matter how much he may deserve it), and it doesn't help anything to feel bitter about it if he doesnt....wiz can go on how he is and when the mods notice how valuable he is, he'll get his elite and imho it will mean so much more to him at that time :p

[edit] There should be a "decline to vote" option so people like myself can still see the results :p

As far back as last summer, I felt that Rick should wear the Elite title.

I've seen him be nothing short of relentless in helping people solve problems.

Whether or not you wear the title, you're elite in my book. You always have been, my friend.
