The trial is over, but there's yet another twist in the Casey Anthony case.
The Orange County, Fla., Sheriff's Department announced it is investigating allegations of witness tampering in the high-profile trial that ended in stunning acquittals.
Authorities wouldn't name the witness, but said it wasn't Anthony's mother, Cindy
Detective John Allen said some people have already been interviewed in the investigation.
"In regards to where we will go, it really depends on what information we get and what people come forward to provide additional information," Allen said.
Anthony, who was found not guilty of murdering her 2-year-old daughter Caylee, is scheduled for release from jail on Sunday.
so what could this if anything have to do with casey? if a witness was tempered with that gave false testimony for casey (and its provable) can they go after her again? or if even then is she still safe?
