would the AMD Athlon XP 2000 1.67 GHZ actually go faster than the Pentium 1.8 GHZ???? Would the 266mhz FSB make a big difference in the performance????? or would the 400mhz FSB of the pentium make it faster than the AMD XP 2000???

if you mean P4 1.8 (non A) - yes the amd is definatly faster.

the "A" "B" chips are northwoods with 512 cache and ALOT faster than the old ones.
